2006 conference: Exploring the Shambhala Path of Social Engagement

This weekend conference was held in Febuary, 2006 (10-12) and consisted of meditation practice and community-based experiential learning. We explored together a context for social action grounded in the Shambhala teachings and practice contemplative social action and peacemaking skills, such as deep listening, appreciative inquiry, nonviolent communication and the way of council. 2005 conference: Exploring the relationship between spirituality and social justice
